Eat protein and loose the straws:
With age your lips tend to loose fullness, if you want to delay this process the recipe is here! Drink plenty of water, eat lots of protein and C-vitamin, which strengthens the production of collagen, keeping the skin tight. But loose the straw! Using straws can leave you with thin lips and fine lines around your mouth.
Give your lips a rejuvenating night treatment by lathering them with coconut oil or almond oil. Throughout the day you can mix a few drops of peppermint oil or cinnamon oil in your lip care products – or use lipbalm or gloss with mint or cinnamon. Both will improve blood circulation and swell the lips slightly.
Protection from the sun:
The suns UV-rays break down the collagen in your skin – including your lips where the skin is thin and fragile. If you wish to maintain your full and voluptuous lips for the next many years, it’s a good idea to use sunscreen on your lips.
Cheat with makeup:
You can make your lips seem fuller by applying a very thin layer of creamy highlighter on the edge of your top lip and an ultra-shiny lip balm in the middle of your bottom lip. Choose the right color:
Avoid dark lip colors, if you think that your lips are too thin. The dark shades make your lips seem “flatter”. Many makeup artists instead use a nude lip liner to draw up and fill out your lips before you apply the color – and as a bonus, the result lasts longer. A light, shiny gloss, peace or rose colored is also a safe choice, when you desire the look of fuller lips.
